In much of the Downtown, the Waterfront and North Plymouth, there is paid and time-limited public parking.
Public parking regulations are enforced 365 days a year from 9am-7pm including Sundays and holidays.
Whenever/wherever payment is required at metered locations on streets and in the parking lots, the cost is $1 an hour (on Town approved event days parking rates subject to change).
You risk getting a parking ticket if you neglect to pay for parking at a metered location or you don’t observe posted time limits at any parking location.
There will be NO paid parking in December of 2017.
There will be NO paid parking from January 1st through March 31, 2018.
Both the metered and non-metered time-limited spaces are monitored by enforcement personnel. Outside of the core areas of town, there is no charge for public parking.
In order to use a credit/debit card at any of our pay locations, you must purchase a minimum of 1 hour of parking.
IPS Meters accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover credit/debit cards, dollar coins, US nickels, dimes and quarters. When paying by credit card, place credit card into the slot. The meter will then allow you to enter your time by pushing the + or – button on the meter. Select desired time and then hit green OK button to confirm the time and start the meter. When paying by cash, place the change into the corresponding slot. The meter will start adding time to the meter according to the amount of coins entered. WE CAN NOW PAY USING THE PassportParking app on your phone at the on street meters. Please enter the zone number and license plate of the vehicle you are driving. Please be aware of the time limits of parking at the meters. Most meters are 4 hour maximum areas and you will not be able to add time above the allotted time.
EV charging station:
There is one EV stations located at 197 Water Street. Must pay the parking meter and must be actively charging to use the meter and avoid a citation. EV charging station details can be found at the Chargepoint website http://www.chargepoint.com/get-started/. If you are not a chargepoint member you can use an RFID chip enabled credit card or call their customer support line at 888.758.4389.
Luke II Pay Stations are located throughout the parking lot areas. The pay stations accept MasterCard, Visa and Discover debit/credit cards, US nickels, dimes, quarters, dollar coins and $1, $5 & $10 bills. If using cash you must use exact amounts because the machines DO NOT give change. Press any button on the pay station to begin your transaction. Enter your stall number (stall number is the number located on the ground of the parking space you used) into pay station. Select desired amount of time using key pad. You will then be given an option to pay using cash or credit card. Place payment in corresponding cash/credit card slot.
If you Need to park your vehicle for several hours before paid parking begins at 9am you can avoid receiving a parking ticket simply by parking in one of our ten hour lots. You can pay for parking in advance at the pay station. Enforcement officers will see this advance payment in their handheld equipment. As long as you’ve paid the correct amount for the time you wish to stay and you park lawfully, you will not receive a parking ticket.

Overnight/Long Term Parking:
Overnight parking is available in our paid parking and free parking lots (See our “Where to Park” tab for locations). If you choose to park in our paid parking lots you must pay using the PassportParking app (See above on how to use and download the app). Please note that our PARKING METERS are NOT available to long term parking due to time limits on the meters.
Park Plymouth parking hours are Monday thru Sunday 9am-7pm including holidays from April 1-Nov. 30. Please be sure to pay using the PassportParking app each day that you are away. This will ensure that a citation is not issued on your vehicle.
